Thank you and congratulations!
All of this would not have been possible without the commitment, dedication and efforts of a lot of people so here's to hoping we get them all:
To all the families that supported their child in attending the trip. You generously offered your time, money and support to get your child on the slopes and for some, this was a tremendous commitment! You prepared your children well with everything they needed to bring and encouraged them to step out of their comfort zone and challenge themselves. A big thank you also for your positive approach to our maiden journey and for getting all your forms and payments in on time.
To the trip parents - Justin, Liz, Simon, Coral, Dean, Lisa and Jason. Your positivity, endless smiles and encouragement, dedication and willingness to chip it and get things done was outstanding. We were so fortunate to have had you as part of the team and you made all the difference in the success that it was. You gave up time with your families and work to join us and we can't thank you all enough. A special shout out to Justin for driving his car up so we has transport as needed!
To the trip staff. Thank you Deb and Rhiannon for all your hard work on the trip, in the lead up and what will continue afterwards. It was a pleasure to work along side you and you both did an incredible job. Jess, a special mention must be made to you for all the amazing work you did to get us organised and up to the mountain. Your organisation and efficiency are to die for! We are bummed you couldn't make it this time to enjoy the fruits of all your work, but we have no doubt there will be the next time!
To our incredible admin team! You are all stars! The quiet background engine that makes everything we do at school possible. Thank you for all your patience and support for the trip. We know there were some trying times as we ironed out the kinks that popped up but, as always, you handled them seamlessly. Thank you for all your hard work!
Thank you to Julian and Bec from Worldstrides who have been the most wonderful tour leaders we could have hoped for. You have both been on the end of the phone for some pretty strange questions/requests, but you never blinked an eye and couldn't have made our trip any smoother. We look forward to organising the next trip with you!
To our hosts at Aeski (Jasmine and Rick) and Amber (Jo) Lodges - you guys were terrific. You made us feel at home from the moment we stepped in your doors and you looked after us wonderfully. A big shout out to Rick for all his amazing cooking and for feeding us so well! We hope to see you back in two seasons.
Thank you to the Buller Ski School who provided us with excellent instructor who got everyone up and moving on the first day. The quality of the instructors was terrific and brought real excitement to each group.
Bendigo coachlines for their services in getting us safely to the mountain and back.
Lastly, to all our wonderful students who ventured to the slopes with us! Your energy, positivity and 'give-it-a-go' attitude continued to impress us and was very motivating for everyone around you. You should all be very proud of the achievements to made both on and off the slopes. We hope that you made many long lasting memories and developed a love and appreciation of the Alpine environment. Thank you for being part of the first BPS Snow Trip!
Well done everyone!
